My cat has disappeared and has not been seen for 2 weeks. I fear she has been killed by a coyote. This is the second cat that I think I have lost to coyotes. There are a real threat!! I spoke to a woman recently who actually witnessed her cat being killed by one and it was traumatic. Watch your kids and your animals! The coyotes are everywhere this year. He jumps over my neighbors bushes around 9:15 and then later in the afternoon he comes back again around 4:30 or so. They were interesting to see but having to take the kids in the house every day and having to be on watch every time you leave the house is not really much fun any more. Apparently animal control, etc are not allowed to trap the coyotes so we just have to live with them. I went to the comunity meeting about the coyotes and they basically told us there was nothing they could do and we just had to deal with it. As long a people don't cover their trash and run away from them, they will stay. We were told to make sure our trash is covered and not put out until the morning of the pick up and we were told to scare them away so they won't come back. They don't like loud noises. That is fine, but if your neighbors don't do the same, they are not going anywhere. Obviously, I have had enough of the coyotes. Hi Helen,

I can remember watching a red fox run through my mother's urban yard when she resided on Pleasant Valley Cir. WR . We both were agog!
